Practical info & costs
The tuition fee for the 2008 programme is 350€, covering:
- 150€ for single rooms in University accommodation;
- FREE for courses fee and material;
- 200€ for all meals and numerous social activities.
- Travel and personal expenses are not included.
Participation is limited to no more than 50 students.
Acceptance is at the discretion of the organizers, and will be announced by 8th July 2008 by confirmation email to those registered.
A Tuition Fee Invoice and a Payment Form will be emailed and posted to you once you have been accepted to the programme. Further details regarding payment will be detailed on your invoice.
Withdrawal policy
If you withdraw two or more weeks before the start of the programme, the Summer School will refund 90 percent of the tuition fees paid. Should you cancel a course within two weeks of the start of the programme, the refund will be 80 percent of the tuition fee. No refunds will be given after this date.
All refunds will be processed after the end of the full Summer School programme.
All refunds will be made in EUR. We are unable to refund tuition fees in the event of withdrawal from the programme due to illness. Therefore all participants are advised to make sure they have adequate insurance cover for this eventuality.
Scholarship
Because money should not be a criterion to take part in this summer school, we will offer 5 full financial aids based on merit and need. This aid is intended for students which could not come without it. Acceptance is at the discretion of the organizers, and will be announced in the same time than your acceptance to the programme.
Candidates interested will be asked to submit 2 essays along with their application forms; an essay involving issues related to their motivations for this summer school and an essay explaining financial need. Applicants must send by postal mail the proof that they have a scholarship at home university, the two essays and any other relevant document.
