In
organising the recruitment of Management
Engineer graduates, the School wishes
the following principles to be respected :
1. The liberty of each student to
make information about him/herself
available ;
2. Equal access to the information
for all companies ;
3. The organisation of contacts
with future graduates whilst respecting
their academic obligations and the
coordination of these contacts by
the Solvay Business School.
The Solvay Business School
offers companies the choice of
three ways to contact its students
:
. The
CV BOOK – INDIVIDUAL INFORMATION
ABOUT STUDENTS
At the beginning of each academic
year, every student completes a standard
curriculum vitae. The student alone
is responsible for the information
contained in this document.
The totality of the curricula vitae
is available on CD-ROM and can be
communicated to any company that
applies for access to the CV Book,
providing the following conditions
are met:
- Information contained in the CD
shall be used exclusively for the
company’s own recruitment;
- Neither the whole nor any part
of the information may be communicated
to a third party.
In order to ensure that the information
is communicated as speedily as possible,
interested companies are requested
to apply to the Director of Campus
Recruitment (see details below),
specifying acceptance of the conditions
outlined in this document and enclosing
a proof of payment.
The CVs will be forwarded on the day of the Job Day to companies that
have applied for them.
. SOLVAY JOB DAY
The Solvay Job Day provides companies
with the opportunity to have direct
contact with students, principally
with those in their final year of
Management Engineer, but also with
those studying for the Postgraduate Management Programme at the Solvay Business School.
This forum is organised at the start
of each academic year in the Grand
Hall of the ULB Campus and favours
interaction between companies and
students, permitting companies to
get to know future graduates and
providing students with an opportunity
to present themselves to potential
employers.
Every company participating in the
forum also has the option of making
a one-to-one presentation. These
corporate presentations take place
in an adjoining auditorium, following
a strict timetable and are subject
to a specific request. This year,
the Solvay Job Day will take place
on Friday, 26 September. For further
information about this corporate
event, please contact the Director
of Campus Recruitment.
. ONE-TO-ONE
PRESENTATIONS OF YOUR COMPANY TO
FUTURE GRADUATES
Companies are free to organise meetings
with one or more future graduates,
according to their availability.
For collective meetings, companies
are kindly requested to respect the
following principles:
- To organise such contacts outside
the hours of lectures and seminars
(held Monday to Friday between 8am
and 6pm and Saturday mornings);
- Not to organise meetings outside
the authorised periods, so as not
to interfere with exams;
- To make requests via the Director
of Campus Recruitment.
