c. Public Management Programme (PUMP)

The Public Management Programme is designed to provide sabbatical training for civil servants of Level 1. The Belgian Federal Government has undertaken a modernisation programme with a view to providing citizens with improved services and performance. Experience gained in other countries has shown that such an ambitious programme necessitates the implication of everyone concerned, beginning with the civil servants themselves. The purpose of this course is to contribute to this huge effort of modernisation, through the provision of knowledge, competences and the appropriate attitudes required to modernise the Federal Administration.
