The
Solvay
Business School is the Business
School of Université
Libre de Bruxelles.
Founded by the industrialist Ernest
Solvay in 1903, the School has recently
celebrated its centenary. With our
innovative degree courses and teaching
methods, we are proud to have trained
managers and decision makers who have
gone on to have successful business
careers around the world.
The Solvay Business School (SBS) offers wide-ranging business courses that have acquired an international reputation and which combine theoretical and practical teaching. Our teaching faculty creates courses that are intended to stimulate students and encourage them to give their very best. The SBS owes its excellent reputation to more than just the renown of its founder and its alma mater, the ULB.
From its very first days, and in accordance with the wishes of Ernest Solvay himself, the School has developed methods of teaching and working that are both sound and strict, and are constantly under review and development, according to the requirements of business and our students.
The prodigious work schedule for which the School is renowned is not difficult: it is demanding!
Please note that most of the courses are taught in French.
