Programme

The MBA Solvay is designed to equip its participants with a full set of skills and the knowledge with which to face a competitive and fast-moving world. To achieve this, they follow a very intensive and highly demanding programme in order to gain a firm practical understanding of the management trends that make a difference at an international level.

The MBA Solvay is a part-time programme offered in English.It's designed to be completed within one or two academic years.

2-Year Programme

Academic year split into 5 periods of about 8 weeks each [lectures and exams]
Evening and Saturday classes
In parallel with a current professional activity

1-Year Programme

Evening and Saturday classes + daytime classes
Incompatible with an outside professional full-time activity

Degree requirement
MBA Solvay is a programme resting on 4 pillars:

ACADEMIC PILLAR comprising courses organized into 5 areas (Accounting, Control & Resource Management - The Entrepreneurial Manager - The Financial Manager - The Global Economy - The Efficient and Responsible Organization). Each area consists in core courses (for the equivalent of 30 ECTS) and electives courses (for the equivalent of at least 18 ECTS)
INTEGRATIVE PILLAR for the equivalent of 5 ECTS or 10 ECTS (International Business Field Project or Entrepreneurship/Business Planning or Applied Corporate STrategy Seminar)
PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PILLAR (PPD) for the equivalent of 9 ECTS
CAREER ADVANCEMENT PROGRAMME AND CORPORATE RELATIONS PILLAR (CAPCO)

The courses entail 24 hours of class work in addition to the corresponding preparation (readings, case studies and projects).
