MBASOLVAY programme is looking for a

Academic Affairs Manager

Who Are We

The Solvay Business School is a leader in management education with a 100-year reputation of excellence, offering two MBA programmes, full-time and part-time.

The MBASolvay enrols 100 candidates a year coming from 30 different countries. The programme is taught in English by top International Academics and Business practitioners

Position Reponsabilities

He/She will be under the direct supervision of the MBASolvay Coordinator, and under the general supervision of the Programme Director.

  • Planning and implementation of the one-year Full-Time and two-year Part-Time MBA programmes.
  • Course Scheduling, Grading, Database Management.  
  • Acting as the main academic contact for participants on a vide variety of issues.
  • Managing the MBA faculty liaison (e.g. organisational back-up, course preparation, student requests, group formation, grading…).
  • Taking an active part in the development, implementation and improvement of operational policies and procedures.

Profile

  • Advanced interpersonal skills and experience in working in multi-cultural environments. Professionalism and courtesy in dealing with a wide variety of interlocutors.
  • Strong organizational skills, and ability to organize work respecting deadlines and setting priorities. Problem-solving approach. Flexibility. Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Good drafting ability in English and collaborative negotiation skills.
  • Experience in dealing with and anticipating individual and group requests; experience in providing information and advice. Experience in event management is a bonus.
  • Ability to ensure continuous effective communication and information sharing towards faculty, participants and team members so that all programme stakeholders are regularly informed on all developments related to their work.

Languages:  English speaker with strong writing skills. Good French. English and French are the working languages of the MBASolvay Programme.

Other Skills: Proficiency in software packages such as MS Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
