The CAP Team, composed of six
members, will assist you in your
personal development throughout
the year by providing you with practical
guidance for approaching the job
market.
Seminars, coaching sessions, interview
trainings, networking events and
visits by prospective employers
are scheduled from September through
June.
What Is Career Advancement?
- Staying in the same career but moving to a better position, a better company, or a new location
- Changing sector in which you work eg private practice to employed, employed to entrepreneurial
- Changing career to a new area of expertise eg from technical to management, from banking to marketing, from real estate to banking

Rationale
- The MBA reputation and value depends in part on career successes of its graduates
- The MBA is used to switch career tracks and ‘reposition’ for the job market
- Need to keep pace with the current international job market
- Effective career and placement service is required for accreditations and rankings
- Our internal strategic goal: ‘80 per cent candidates have suitable job offer within 6 months of graduating and are satisfied and succeeding after one year in their jobs’

CAP is structured in two parts to meet the needs of candidates, employers and the MBA Corporate Council.
