Admissions

Requirements
MBASolvay follows a strict admission policy to ensure a constant standard of high calibre participants.
Applicants are required

  • to have significant and valuable work experience;
  • an outstanding academic record;
  • proficiency in business English;
  • a desire to work in an international environment and openness for diversity;
  • professional ambition;
  • leadership skills and diligence, coupled with the ability to work under stress.

We aim to create a community of participants that would contribute to the diversity and uniqueness of the MBA programme. Therefore, the Admission Committee will meticulously examine the biographical and academic background information, GMAT and TOEFL scores, achievements, awards and honours, employment history, and letters of recommendation.

Application Procedure
Applications to the MBA programme take place on a rolling basis. However, it is advisable to send your application as soon as possible for various reasons. First of all, availability within the next class is limited.

Also, for non-EU citizens, the student visa procedure might take a few weeks or even few months depending on your native country.

Also, if you are not a resident in Belgium, you might also need a visa or there may be certain administrative formalities that take time. For more information, see Practical Information.
