Integrative Courses

1-year participants are required to participate in either the International Business Field Project (IBFP) or in the Entrepreneurship course.

2-year participants need to make a choice between the Entrepreneurship/Business Planning course and the Applied Corporate Strategy Seminar.

The International Business Field Project is a challenging consulting project carried out by a small team of MBA participants working to solve a real-life business issue brought to us by international companies. Participants are assigned a project, ranging in subject from capital financing to product launching, business strategy to product chain management, etc. Participants then define the detailed objectives and planning in accordance with the client and the School Faculty. It is a unique opportunity to showcase participants’ talents to potential recruiters, and offers participants a real-life arena in which to strengthen and consolidate their skills.

The Entrepreneurship/Business Planning course provides participants with the essential skills necessary to deal with discovery, evaluation and exploitation of opportunities. It sheds light on the three pillars of the entrepreneurial process: the opportunity, the team and the resources. Specific attention is devoted to the business planning process as a best practice to prepare an entrepreneurial venture.

The Applied Corporate Strategy Seminar gives the opportunity of applying the knowledge gained in courses (in strategy as well as in specialized subjects) by preparing a report and making a presentation on a specific strategic issue involving the organization he/she works for. This organization may be a corporation or a public sector entity or a non-profit entity. Each student will choose a topic, in agreement with the faculty member in charge of this seminar, which must also be approved by the organization he/she works for.

Personal and Professional Development Plan (PPD)

Personal and Professional Development (PPD), is focusing on strengthening formal and informal leadership, the art and science of management, cross-cultural teamwork, professional competency and confidence, through the course of Leadership, Teamwork and Communication (LTC):

• The Business Voice Series (BVS) offer workshops and seminars combining additional soft and hard skills. It offers teh opportunity to earn 6 ECTS for the requirement of 16 sessions in total throughout the year.
• An individual Development Plan (IDP) is developed across this pillar in part thanks to the participation in some workshops and seminars particularly suited to your personal and professional development.
• The Leadership, Teamwork, Communication (LTC) course teaches new leadership practices and behaviours required by the best international companies. The course provides 3 ECTS.
