Practical Information

Admissions
Admissions are on a rolling basis, but applicants are strongly advised to submit applications early, as the programme is selective and the number of places is limited.

The application deadline is August, 22nd , 2008.

Visa
To obtain a student visa, contact the nearest Belgian Consulate upon acceptance into the programme. The administrative procedure takes some time and students are recommended to start the process at least three months before anticipated arrival in Belgium.

It is, of course, always possible for students to rent an apartment individually. Since the number of rooms on the campus is limited and the demand increases as the academic year draws near, it is recommended to start looking for an accommodation as soon as possible.

Medical Care
Medical Care is provided by the Medical Center of the University, and students are advised to obtain medical Insurance at the Center.

Cultural Life
As a part of the University of Brussels, the Solvay Business School offers a diverse cultural experience. The university hosts a large number of cultural events such as exhibitions, concerts, debates and lectures.

Sports
The sports center of the university offers students the possibility to enjoy various sport activities, such as tennis, basket-ball, football and volleyball courts or fitness. Moreover, parks located near the campus offer the possibility of enjoying nature in the heart of Brussels.
