In November 2006, the 22th, the Centre Emile Bernheim and the European Microfinance Programme had organized a workshop with EMP students. For this event the CEB had received HRH Princess Mathilde of Belgium and Mr. Armand De Decker, Belgian Minister of Cooperation and Development.

In July 2004, "The Innovation and Intellectual Property, Economic and Managerial Perspectives" was organized in Singapore by the Applied Econometrics Association (AEA, Paris), INSEAD (Singapore), the IP Academy in Singapore and the CEB (Department of Technology Management).
In May 2004, the ninth meeting of the "Belgian Financial Research Forum" (BFFR) was organized in Brussels by the CEB Department of Finance.
The CEB Department of Marketing is building in 2004 the Euromarketing Research Center and the European Center of excellence in Art and Culture Marketing (ARTketing), with the financial help of the Centre Interuniversitaire de Management (CIM).

In 2004, the CEB Department of Financial History is benefiting from a PAI (Pôle d'Attraction Interuniversitaire) "Tournesol" grant financed by the French-Speaking Community of Belgium (CGRI) and the French CNRS to enhance collaboration at a high scientific level between Belgian and French research teams.

The "IVèmes Doctoriales d'Economie et de Finance Internationales", a meeting for Ph.D. students in International Economics and Finance, was held at CEB in December 2003.
The CEB Department of International Economics participated in 2003 in the organization of following workshops: "Competition policy in MENA countries", "Product Market Reform: Measuring the Micro and Macro economic impact", "International Network for Innovation Research (INIR)", and "Competition, Competition Policy and Economic Efficiency in the MENA Region".

The CEB Department of Strategy participates since 2002 in a PAI network coordinated by Prof. Mathias Dewatripont (ECARES and SBS, ULB).
In 2002, the CEB Department of Finance obtained from ULB a "distinguished scientist fellowship" in order to welcome Prof. Roland Gillet (University of Paris I- Panthéon- Sorbonne).

"The course is devoted to the positive and normative properties of various decision rules (voting, bargaining, Borda count among others). Starting with standard results in a deterministic set-up (Condorcet paradox, mmedian voter theorem), the course will then
