 The Centre Emile Bernheim (CEB) is the ULB research Institute in Management Sciences, affiliated to the Solvay Business School. It is located in a splendid building facing the forest (21 Avenue F.D. Roosevelt, 1050 Brussels). The CEB aims at developing and promoting advanced scientific research in Management Sciences.
The centre hosts full-time professors, part-time professors and researchers in key-management disciplines.
The CEB's teaching- and research staff are currently active in the following fields: Finance, Marketing, Technology Management, International Economics, Strategy & Corporate Governance, Accounting & Control, Economic and Financial History, Tax Sciences, Quantitative Methods for Management, Human Resources & Organisation, Microfinance - CERMi and Etudes Economiques et Sociales de l'Environnement - CEESE.
In
cooperation with the SBS Doctoral
School and DULBEA, the CEB organizes
on a regular basis a Research
Seminar in Applied Economics and Management, under the supervision of Professors Christian Blümelhuber and Pierre-Guillaume Méon. Its members participate on specific occasions in the organization of international scientific conferences.
CEB and the Doctoral Programme in Management Sciences have founded the SBS Doctoral School of Management, under the supervision of Professor Ariane Szafarz.
CEB also welcomes visiting professors to take part in research activities, as well as in advanced teaching programs (MBA, Master of Management Sciences, Doctoral Programme,etc.) |
