  The Suez Chair
in Leadership and Personal development
PRINT THIS PAGE

This Chair has as its objective to promote, within the Solvay Business School, the development of a centre of skills in leadership and personal development, both of which are of increasing importance whatever the company or organisation.

The Chair embraces research in the following fields:

  • The study of human resources management
  • Management, evaluation and skills development
  • Leadership development
  • Group dynamics
  • Management of change within organisations
  • Stress management within organisations
  • Personal and interpersonal behaviour
  • Communication
  • Corporate culture

The creation of a centre devoted to research and training in the field of human resource management and skills development is of tremendous benefit to the School's teaching programmes as well as theoretical and applied research in the subject. The Suez Chair not only contributes to the School's existing programmes (Master of Sciences in Management, MBA, the Doctoral School and Executive Education): it is also a driving force in the creation of new Executive Education programmes and in the development of high level consultancy services for enterprises and public sector organisations.
