We currently offer four Double Degrees programmes in the Bachelor and Master programmes : 

  • Bachelor in Economics OR Business Engineering - Double degree with HEC Montréal 

Four selected students, recognized for outstanding performance in their second year, will embark on a two-year academic journey, earning both Solvay Brussels School bachelor's degree and an HEC Montréal bachelor's degree. The program emphasizes global collaboration, cross-cultural experiences, and returns to Belgium for a final year to complete their master degree. Therefore earning three diplomas in five years.

The selection process is based on academic achievement, leadership potential, and a demonstrated commitment to cross-cultural engagement. Eligible students are encouraged to apply for this transformative academic experience, aligning with Solvay Brussels School's dedication to excellence and global preparedness.
 

  • Master in Business Engineering – Double degree with Politecnico di Milano

The total duration of the programme is 2.5 years; the first year is completed at SBS-EM, with students following the core courses plus a specific programme. The second year is completed in Milano, where they also follow a specific programme. There is an extra semester dedicated to the dissertation and an internship.

Students apply before mid-December during the 1st year of the master, and selection is based on the marks earned during the bachelor programme. There are 5 spots available per institution per year.

After completing the five semesters, students receive the following degrees: ‘Master Ingénieur de gestion (ULB)’ and ‘Laurea Magistrale in ingegneria gestionale’ (Politecnico di Milano).
 

  • Master in Economic Analysis & European Policy – Double Degree with LUISS Guido Carli (Rome)

The total duration of the programme is 2 years; the first year is completed at SBS-EM, with students following the core courses plus a specific programme. The second year is completed in Rome, where they also follow a specific programme, including the dissertation.

The Double Degree is only accessible to students who earn at least an overall mark of C in the third year of their bachelor. If they meet this requirement, they may apply to the Double Degree programme at the beginning of the 1st year of the Master, in which case they are automatically enrolled in a specific programme for the 2nd semester.

The deadline for applications is mid-December and the decision on admission is finalised after the January exam session. In order to be eligible, students must have passed several core courses. There are 5 spots available per institution per year.

After completing the two years, students will receive the following degrees: ‘Master en Sciences Economiques à finalité “Economic Analysis and European Policy”’ (ULB) and ‘Master Degree in Economics and Finance, Major in Economics’ (LUISS).

  • Master in Business Economics - Double degree with Universiteit Antwerpen

With this Double Degree programme, you get the opportunity to acquire two degrees in two years in two Belgian universities of quality : a Master of Science in Business Economics from the University of Antwerp and a Master in Economics from SBS-EM.

The total duration of the programme is 2 years : the first year is completed at SBS-EM with one course remotely followed at UAntwerp. The second year is completed in UAntwerp where the student take part in the Master of Science in Business Economics. During the final part, the student write a Master’s thesis that will be supervised in one university and assessed by the other.

Students are selected based on academic merit, past work and extracurricular experience as well as a demonstration of strong motivation. A maximum of 20 students will be selected, including 5 from ULB, 5 from UAntwerp and 10 from other universities.  

The deadline for applications is the 1st of April. The student need to confirm its interest by April 15.
