  • Workshop in Morocco

On the 31st of October 2007, the Department of Microfinance of the Centre Emile Bernheim of the ULB will organise a workshop session in collaboration with the University of Hassan II of Casablanca – Morocco.

The aim of the workshop will be, firstly, to present some research papers from both sides on the issues of microfinance. Secondly, to establish a new partnership for future collaboration among the two universities.

  • EMP workshop on the results of the students' internships

On the 22nd of November 2006, the Department of Microfinance of the Centre Emile Bernheim of the ULB organised a workshop session with the first laureates of the European Microfinance Programme (EMP). This meeting was enriched by the honourable presence of Her Majesty Princess Mathilde and by the Minister of Developement and Cooperation, Mr. Armand De Decker.

 

  • Closing ceremony of the 1st EMP’s academic year

This ceremony took place the 29th of March 2006 at the ULB with the presence of Her Majesty Princess Mathilde. It was organised jointly by all the partners of the EMP: the Universities of Paris-Dauphine and Wageningen, the ULB and the NGO PlaNet Finance.

The key speakers invited to the ceremony were Jacques Attali, President of PlaNet Finance and Ousmane Sy, winner of the International Roi Baudoin Price for development.
