SBS Student Consulting Club
The Solvay Brussels School – Student Consulting Club (SCC) is a student organisation, part of the Bureau Etudiant (BE), which promotes entrepreneurship and offers students the opportunity to develop their professional skills and relevant practical experience.
For this, The SCC relies on two pillars, projects and workshops:
* The project work is still the SCC's core concept. The idea behind this concept is to give voluntary BA3 (bachelors) and MA1 (masters) students the opportunity to be assigned to a project for which they work on for 6 to 8 weeks. These projects are usually focused on the following areas: finance & accounting, strategy, marketing, HR & organisation and corporate social responsibility.
With this concept the SCC achieves two goals. Firstly, ive SMEs and multinational corporations quality advice based on academic and practical knowledge. Secondly, offer ambitious students the opportunity to realise a relevant work experience alongside their studies by conducting research / projects. The students are supervised by more experienced project coordinators, but also by Solvay Brussels School faculty members as well as promoters from various professional partners.
* The SCC also offers, thanks to its partners, professional workshops where members are encouraged to develop both soft skills and hard skills.
