FNRS opens grant application

The Fonds de la Recherche Scientifique (FNRS) has opened its calls for grants. The deadline to submit your application is July 10th,2012 (02.00 pm).

Several types of funding are available:

“Interuniversity Attraction Poles” (or IAP) aim to increase joint contribution to general scientific advances and to international scientific networks. Through this programme, the Belgian Science Policy Office (BELSPO) funds some 500 researchers and over 2000 publications.

With the financial support of the Marie-Christine Adam Fund (ULB) and the Norwegian Centre for Microfinance Research, the Centre for European Research in Microfinance (CERMi) and the University of Agder are offering a joint full-time 2 + 2 -year research fellowship in Microfinance.

Matthieu Ricard, author of numerous Buddhist philosophy books and personal friend (and interpreter for the french-speaking world) of the Dalai Lama, will join us on the Saturday 24th of September for a conference entitled “Justice, Altruism and Economy: which direction to take in regards to the Crisis? A dialogue on integration, justice and altruism in the economy and the business world”.
