2 Solvay Ph.D students invited to China to participate to the 1st “Management Frontiers and Economic Issues Forum"

To celebrate its 60th anniversary, Beihang University (Beijing, China), will organise, through its School of Economics & Management, the 1st “Management Frontiers and Economic Issues Forum "on October 10-14, 2012 in Beijing.

The aim of the Forum is to provide both researchers and practitioners a platform to meet and share cutting-edge development in the field. Scholars and professors can discuss the hot and difficult issues in Economics and Management in theory and practice.

The organisation committee invites domestic and overseas scholars and graduates to submit and attend. Therefore, and thanks to the bilateral agreement signed between Beihang School of Economics & Management and Solvay Brussels School of Economics & Management (SBS-EM), Beihang University has invited 2 PhD students from SBS-EM to present a paper at the Forum.

The 2 selected students are Benjamin Lorent (“Regulatory Constraints : A Life Insurance Clinical Case in the Context of Solvency II”) and Bernhard Michel (“Productivity gains and spillovers from offshoring”).
