SBS-EM receives renewed EQUIS accreditation

Solvay Brussels School - Economics & Management - News

The Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management has been awarded the EQUIS accreditation for the third time in a row. Since 2005, EQUIS provides recognition that our institution attains top quality standards in its education and research missions while demonstrating a high level of internationalization. The renewal emphasizes the relentless progress that our School has accomplished lately. "The EQUIS Peer Review Report acknowledges the key strengths of the School, including its close link with the corporate world and public institutions, the quality and dynamism of its students, a high level of research output, and a sound and ambitious growth strategy. The in-depth analysis of its Master of Business Engineering underlined the quality of the programme, a quality which is confirmed by the Financial Times Rankings – We are number 1 in Belgium and 25 in the world!” notes Bruno van Pottelsberghe, Dean of the Solvay Brussels School.

EQUIS (the European Quality Improvement System) is the accrediting body of the European Federation for Management Development (EFMD) and the leading international system of quality assessment, improvement, and accreditation of higher education institutions in management and business administration. The list of accredited schools is available here.
