| Solvay Business School in partnership with Duke University undertakes a large survey on offshoring of administrative and technical functions by companies in Belgium.

The first survey was realised in March and April 2007.
143 companies of all sizes participated, currently offshoring or not.
A close debriefing workshop for survey participants is organized on December 7, 2007.

The Offshoring Research Network
By taking the survey you will join the Offshoring Research Network (O.R.N.), an international community of companies and universities already active in the USA, Germany, Netherlands, Scandinavia, Spain, UK, and now Belgium, and access its unique resources.
Scope of the study
The objective of this project is to study the evolution of the offshoring practice over time in order to better understand its benefits, risks, and strategic impact for companies, as well large as SMEs (download the project’s brochure).
The study is interested in both Belgian companies and Belgian subsidiaries of multinationals, be they currently offshoring, considering starting offshoring, or not planning to offshore in the near future.
It covers all administrative, technical and IT-related functions offshored to foreign locations, industrialized as well as developing countries.
