With globalization now a reality, living and studying abroad is the best way for students to prepare themselves for a professional life in an international world. In 1990, under the leadership of Professor Marie-Christine Adam, Solvay Business School at Université Libre de Bruxelles started the International Programme to transform this vision into a reality. Today, the International Programme has become one of the most important components of the Master of Science in Management (MScM – locally known as Ingénieur de Gestion). Exchange agreements have been signed with 70 universities and business schools around the world. The list of partners is becoming larger every year. For the coming academic years, we are proud to initiate exchanges with the following partners:
MScM students are required to spend one semester abroad as part of their studies and SBS is proud to welcome students coming from our partners. All participants to the exchanges will discover new countries, different cultures and life styles. By having to adapt to unfamiliar environments, they learn tolerance.
For our incoming students, welcome to Brussels. You will discover one of the largest Belgian universities in the very heart of Europe. Brussels in an international city, close to important capital of Europe. Its is a truly cosmopolitan capital with European institutions and many multinational companies. At SBS and ULB, you will have a large choice of courses both in English and in French.
For the outgoing students, farewell. Take advantage of your stay abroad to make new friends, to develop your language skills, to learn new topics. Expand your horizon and come back at Solvay more mature.
